I am confused about certain aspects of the setup parameters. I have set up the vario to read in ft/min. Does that mean that the analog vario indicates 200ft/min on 1 and 400/ft/min on 2 and 600 ft/min on 3 etc? The altimeter pressure settings indicate the standard reference pressure to be 1013.2mb. Under what circumstances would I want to set it differently? The manual indicates the Barometer setting is critical but gives no indication of what it should be or why. Please explain how to set and why would I change the setting? Can you provide more information on the SVAR setting? How does this setting affect my analog readout or my vario sound? What does it affect? These may seem very basic questions but having used and old Roberts vario for many years this vario is very high tech. Thank you Mike ====================================================================== Message posted by COMMERCIAL on 24 February 2004 at 10:14 - IP Logged COMMERCIAL Guest Italy 13 January 2004 10 Posts hallo! about time you're right, in few time there will be the new firmware release. have you got the manual? you can find there many answer ! ====================================================================== Message posted by Digifly_Donato on 09 March 2004 at 12:48 - IP Logged Digifly_Donato Forum Admin Italy 29 March 2001 39 Posts The calibration of the barometer instead (see KBAR) is from carrying out single if the main barometer indicates wrong values respect to a barometer champion (see airport barometer) ----------------- Donato Robortella Digifly Europe Srl ====================================================================== Message posted by Michael on 11 March 2004 at 04:06 - IP Logged Michael Standard Member United States 16 February 2004 2 Posts Don't mean to be rude but neither of the posts answering my questions make any sense in English.
